I believe in progress and I build through people, but I have little patience for excuses. I grew up in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, and first found my footing as a leader at university. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance from UiTM, followed by a Master of Real Estate from Universiti Malaya, where I am now a PhD candidate researching township risk governance. My career began on the technical side of the insurance industry, assessing risk before I ever sold protection against it, then leading a general takaful training department before I left corporate employment in 2016. Since 2018 I built a million ringgit agency in takaful and investment, reaching RM3 million in annual contributions by 2020 and RM7 million by 2022. Since 2021 my work has widened into business development, training and consulting, and also corporate finance and capital markets. I hold directorships in several companies and now lead the consultancy division as Management Partner at MTA Services Berhad, under the Malaysian Takaful Association. I love to read books and articles on business and strategy.
